Nurses in the Philippines is a major course consideration to take these days for college students and because of this reason, nursing jobs in Dubai, a neighboring country in the Middle East have become the most wanted by Filipino workers more than any other medical jobs. This condition also helped boom the medical industry and contributed to millions of dollars in revenue to the government’s funds coming from OFWs or overseas Filipino workers.

Not just in the United States, New Zealand, Canada, Australia, London, Germany or Greece did nursing jobs become a main destination for the thousands of nursing board exam passers. Nursing jobs in Dubai have become a major target for nurses and graduates in the this field of study. The reason is because Dubai is a place where a nurse worker from the Philippines feels they are near their loved ones aside from the reason that there are plenty of fellow Filipino workers there which makes them feel almost at home.

Today, some countries, like the U.K. according to POEA stopped recruiting nurses from anywhere as they decided to prioritize their own nursing graduates to employ in their home land. This situation indeed lessened the opportunity for out local graduate nurses to find nursing work in U.K but even if this is that case, a major target, Dubai became a major destination including other places and countries I have mentioned above.

POEA, an authority agency by the government of the Philippines and an employee and employer ceneter duly recognized by both parties all over the world has announced the openings for this year August 2008 on nursing work in New Zealand. This could be a major turnaround in the workforce in the Philippines but this is also a chance for them to find a place to earn more than what the country offers for them if they work here. The opportunity, according to POEA will only be available for nurses who have duly recognized certificates as board passers and so on.
